BOOK CLUB LOG #1 RESPONSE
Through the website links and information below I have illustrated a relationship between the events that took place in "Warriors Don't Cry" and in today's society. It is amazing that even over fifty years after events such as the ones in Little Rock, Arkansas and laws against integration, it still occurs today. Most discrimination is viewed through television and media, aimed for humor, but in reality, it occurs in everyday life. Many movies, including children's, also contain acts of prejudice. So the lasting question is...Will it ever end?
